「八幡平ドラゴンアイ」は、秋田県と岩手県にかかる八幡平の山頂付近にある鏡沼の雪解けの様子が、まるで龍の目の様に見えることから「ドラゴンアイ」と呼ばれています。例年５月中旬から６月中旬に見られる自然の神秘的な光景です。
"Hachimantai Dragon Eye"
Kagami Pond is located near the top of Mt. Hachimantai between Akita and Iwate Prefecture. Because the melting of Kagami Pond's snow in spring looks like dragon's eye, it is called "Dragon EYE". "Dragon Eye", the mysterious natural phenomenon, can be seen from mid-May to mid-June.
